Login Issues

If you have a problem with logging into your account, try the following:

  1. Use a different browser.
  2. Clear your cookies/cache
  3. Log out and log back in.
  4. Request a new password at: http://www.friendster.com/forgotpassword.php
  5. Once you receive your password, try to copy and paste your password.

Error Message: The email address you entered was not found. What does this mean?

  1. Your email address is not on the Friendster network.
  2. Make sure you’re using the correct e-mail address.

Emailing Support:

To get better and faster results from support include the following information in your email to them:

  1. Your first and last name
  2. The email you used to sign up with
  3. Your profile URL
  4. Also another helpful tip is to write in the subject line the following: “password problem or login issue”

 

Do you have looping problems when entering your username and password for your Friendster?

  • You may need to set your cookies at a medium level.

NOTE: Internet security software settings will override your browser settings and must allow cookies. If you are using Internet security software, you will also need to make sure it is set to allow cookies.

  1. Click “Tools” from the menu
  2. Click “Internet Options”
  3. Click the “Privacy” tab
  4. Select Medium on the Privacy slider
  5. Click “OK” to save changes
  • FireFox
  1. Click “Tools” from the menu
  2. Click “Options”
  3. Click “Privacy”
  4. Check the “Accept Cookies” check box
  5. Select “they expire” from the Keep until pull down
  6. Click “OK” to save changes
